Centro Dane County addresses surging demand for immigrant support

MADISON, Wis. — Organizations serving Wisconsin's immigrant community report surging demand for legal aid and family assistance as nationwide ICE operations create widespread fear and uncertainty among immigrant families.

"There's been an increase in individuals needing legal support," Karen Coller, executive director of Centro Dane County said.

Centro Dane County, which provides resources for the immigrant community, launched its Immigrant Defense Fund in January 2025 to address these growing needs. Read more
