A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an entry-level member of a healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. CNAs ensure the well-being of the residents or patients by performing tasks that help with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, walking, and dressing.
The Caminos CNA Program, a collaborative effort between Madison College and the United Way HIRE Initiative, is a 4-month college-level CNA training for Dane County residents. Participating in this program will enhance digital and financial literacy, boost your preparedness for employment, provide professional development guidance, and offer practical, hands-on training. Participants will connect with potential employers and explore various career opportunities throughout the duration of your program. |
