CAMINOS TRAINING PROGRAMS

CAMINOS Training Programs have been at the forefront of addressing workforce inequities since 2012 through its first industry-specific track in the health care sector, Certified Nursing Assistant. In 2016, thanks to the support of UnidosUS, CAMINOS Training expanded to the Finance sector offering LIFT (Latinos in Finance Training). In addressing the pandemic employment crisis, Centro launched Caminos Progreso and now has evolved to bring talent to Admin, Customer Service, and positions within government entities. In 2023, Caminos strengthen its relationship with UnidosUS and launched Caminos InnoTech, LIT (Latinx in Tech) training.
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Centro’s employment services include one-on-one guidance to community members who speak a different language, have digital literacy and have educational background levels who need guidance navigating and understanding the workforce system. Services include searching and applying for jobs online, resume creation, practicing for interviews, and creating pathways for the next educational and workforce steps. In 2019, Centro served over 100 community members with employment needs.
